Ami Alexander

Ami Alexander is a Managing Partner at Barrel Aged Hospitality and brings more than 20 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, specializing in operations and development. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Ami has worked with some of the most iconic brands in the world, from Michelin-starred and James Beard-awarded restaurants to Forbes 5-star hotels like the Aria Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Jumeirah Emirates Towers Dubai. Overseeing every aspect of a project from concept and development to operation and asset management, her knowledge extends beyond restaurants, bars and nightlife to include consumption lounges, private membership clubs, retail concepts and more. As a key leader for Hakkasan Group at the height of their expansion, Ami opened countless restaurants and nightlife venues over seven years before joining Sydell Group where she led the concept development, openings and operations for NoMad, the LINE and Freehand. Following her role as the Vice President of Food & Beverage for Montage International, leading the efforts for both Montage and Pendry-branded properties, Ami joined Barrel Aged Management where she has partnered with Virgin Hotels, Core Club and The Manchester to drive their concepts forward.

 

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Ami has lived all over the world, chasing the very things that fuel the work she does, from the next memorable meal to the newest luxury hotel.

Seth Alexander

Seth, co-founder of Barrel Aged Management, is a dedicated partner in creating innovative and transformative hospitality experiences. With 25 years of expertise in food & beverage, and real estate, Seth excels at working alongside developers and brands to conceptualize and reposition their vision into thriving, industry-leading projects. Known for his hands-on approach, Seth collaborates with teams to enhance efficiency, profitability, and operational excellence, acting as a trusted advisor through both challenges and successes. 

Seth has partnered with renowned hotel brands such as Four Seasons, Lucien Barriere, The Edition, Ritz-Carlton in addition to working with several Millchelin and James Beard nominated Chefs and restauranteurs. Seth has also worked ali g side some of the world largest and industry leading developers including Howard Hughes, Bedrock Ventures, Lightstone Group and Related Group, to bring thoughtful and impactful concepts to life. His work is driven by a passion for creating venues that resonate deeply with guests and stakeholders alike.

Sol Andrews
CO-FOUNDER, ADVISOR

Sol Andrews  Co-Founder | Advisor   Currently, Sol Andrews serves as the Managing Partner for Mobley & Partners, a hospitality management and design studio. Though no longer an active partner at Barrel Aged, Sol remains a vital advisor, contributing his extensive experience and insights to ensure the company’s continued success.  As a Co-Founder of Barrel Aged, Sol was integral in building relationships, shaping culinary programming, and fostering a strong company culture. With over a decade of leadership in fine-dining establishments and renowned hotels, Sol’s hospitality journey began in South Florida. He worked with Hillstone Restaurant Group, Prime Group, and The Forge, managing operations, an award-winning wine program, and a private collection. In 2011, Sol joined the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino and later the Fontainebleau Hotel & Resort, where he spearheaded the national expansion of the Scarpetta brand for LDV Hospitality.  His next move was with Mercer Street Hospitality in 2013, where he became General Manager of Lure Fishbar and The Rum Line at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, eventually rising to Managing Director. His leadership efforts significantly increased revenue and expanded brand recognition. By 2016, Sol moved to New York to work with NoHo Hospitality Group, overseeing the food & beverage program at The William Vale in Brooklyn. In 2018, he became the Managing Partner of Shinola Hotel’s food & beverage operations in Detroit, where he led the successful opening and management of seven outlets.

With a robust professional history spanning over a dozen years within the hospitality industry, Claudia has positioned herself as a trusted and seasoned authority in the management of prominent hotel and restaurant establishments. From spearheading the inception of ambitious startup ventures to contributing strategic insights to well-established entities, her career has been defined by a commitment to excellence. In her capacity as a leader, Claudia has meticulously directed teams, streamlined operational processes, and managed financial intricacies with a precision cultivated through years of immersive experience. Her responsibilities extend to the orchestration of a multi-state supply chain, overseeing centralized purchasing, receiving, and inventory control functions with a keen eye for efficiency.
